Ms. Casady

Ms. Casady was born and raised in Fairbanks. She has taught in Alaska for 21 years, 19 of which, have been at Barnette Magnet School. She has her National Board Certification in Language Arts, a Masters in Reading Development, and is a BP Teacher of Excellence. Her high expectations, positive enthusiasm, and love of learning, create a fun, engaging environment for students. Her classroom is warm, welcoming, and brimming with high interest books, student choice, and meaningful learning experiences.
